In the enchanting district of Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, a tale of inspiration and devotion unfolds as Vibhu Upadhyay, a regular performer of Ganga Aarti, triumphs in the NEET exam.

This young resident, driven by an unwavering ambition to become a doctor, embarked on his NEET preparation journey as early as class 9, laying a solid foundation for his success. Even amidst his rigorous studies, Vibhu continued to dedicate himself to the divine ritual of Ganga Aarti, a practice he commenced in 2019, and he vows to continue this spiritual pursuit in the future.

Vibhu Upadhyay has achieved an extraordinary feat in the NEET exam, capturing the attention and admiration of many. In his very first attempt, he garnered an impressive score of 622 out of 720 marks, securing an enviable 622nd rank. For this exceptional accomplishment, Vibhu credits the sacred waters of the holy Ganga, which have been a source of inspiration and strength throughout his journey. Since January 15, 2019, Vibhu has been faithfully performing Aarti at Kachla Ganga Ghat, a dedication that became a daily ritual intertwined with his studies.

The inception of regular Ganga Aarti at Kachla Ganga Ghat in Badaun was initiated by the then DM of the district, Dinesh Kumar Singh, who drew inspiration from the iconic Aarti ceremonies of Banaras. Following his visionary pledge, the Aarti at Ganga Ghat commenced, and Vibhu, possessing the necessary credentials as a Brahmin Archak, willingly stepped forward to fulfill this divine duty. With the blessings of his parents and the permission they granted, Vibhu embarked on a harmonious routine of performing Aarti every evening, alongside his diligent academic pursuits.

Subsequently, Vibhu ventured to Kota, leaving behind his hometown of Badaun, to join a coaching institute dedicated to NEET preparation. Immersed in his studies, he tirelessly worked towards his goal, combining the rigor of academics with unwavering devotion to his beloved mother Ganga. Now, with his sincere efforts and the benevolence of his divine guides, Vibhu has emerged victorious in the NEET exam. He attributes his remarkable achievement to his parents, the divine Ganga, and the unwavering support of former DM Dinesh Kumar Singh. Having dedicated three to four years in preparation, Vibhu now envisions resuming his involvement in Ganga Aarti whenever time permits, once again embracing the spiritual connection that has been instrumental in his journey of success.
