Jaipur: Geeta Devi Sharma, an old woman was brutally murdered with an ax in broad daylight on October 19 in Khatepura village of Jamwaramgarh.
The killers took away the loot with them by cutting off hard silver legs from the feet of the deceased. Taking a big action, the police have arrested five killers after 3 months and 11 days after interrogating about 700 suspicious persons.
The mastermind of the murder is a resident of the village Khatehpura of the deceased Geeta Devi Sharma. Jaipur Rural SP Manish Aggarwal told that due to losing in online betting, the deceased was made of hard loot. The police have arrested four other accused including the main accused. The main accused of the murder, Pawan Balai, told during the inquiry that after losing the online bet, the robbery was planned after getting the loan.

The deceased Geeta Devi was a caste herding cattle in the fields outside the village, the accused knew about it. The accused reached the deceased woman, who was grazing cattle alone, in the afternoon of the day of the incident. After complicating the woman in the talks, after killing the woman with an ax and robbing her of her legs, she escaped after looting the silver rings. After the incident, the main accused sold one silver bracelet to his neighbor Suraj Balai and the other one to Dinesh through Vishnu and Sonu.
After thorough interrogation, 1 Pawan Balai age 19 years resident Khatepura, 2 Suraj Balai age 20 years resident Khatepura, 3 Vishnu Balai age 19 years resident Samor, 4 Sonu Balai age 25 years resident of Badoli, and 5 Dinesh Bairwa age 22 years resident Dhanavad Arrested and interrogation continues. More revelations are expected during the interrogation.
