This intrusive material is reportedly appearing on screens regardless of whether users follow official CJP accounts, consume political content, or have recently registered new profiles.

A significant disclosure from within the ranks of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has provided weight to allegations long raised by critics. A close associate of protest leader Abhijit Dipke has publicly confirmed that the CJP functions as a secondary wing—a B-team—of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), asserting that the ongoing demonstration, which has recently descended into violence, is far from an organic grassroots movement.

Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria has issued a stern warning regarding the ongoing crisis in the state, emphasizing that illegal operations on this scale are impossible without systemic backing. In a recent interview, Kataria stated directly that “Drug trade at this level cannot survive without administrative and police collusion.” Speaking to The Indian Express, he raised sharp concerns over rising extortion cases, rampant corruption, and a deteriorating law-and-order landscape, insisting that stronger, far more decisive measures are urgently needed to counter these growing threats.

On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, the high-security diplomatic enclave of New Delhi witnessed unprecedented turmoil as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by several lawmakers, staged an abrupt sit-in protest directly outside 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The flashpoint for this dramatic confrontation was officially cited as a demonstration against alleged National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leaks and the subsequent police action against a violent mob associated with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP).

On Thursday, July 16, the Supreme Court of India raised serious concerns regarding the practice of spouses filing formal complaints directly with each other's employers during ongoing matrimonial litigation. The court observed that taking domestic disputes to a spouse's workplace can result in immediate job termination, which ultimately ruins any realistic chance of securing financial support or maintenance later on.

The debate over India's agricultural policy has flared up once again. On Tuesday, July 21, a major demonstration organized by the Desh Bachao Morcha took place at Delhi’s Kisan Ghat to protest a proposed trade deal between the United States and India. According to event organizers, nearly 550 unions representing farmers and various social groups from across the country participated in the gathering.

On 20th July, the leftist portal The Wire reported that student protests from India had “reached London.” The media outlet shared photographs showing people gathering in front of the Indian High Commission. This gathering occurred right after reports surfaced regarding police action against a protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Delhi. Crucially, the Delhi Police had not granted official permission for the demonstration. The Delhi gathering turned violent, with demonstrators engaging in stone-pelting and attacking police personnel before law enforcement officers retaliated to restore order.

At around 10 am, a drone shot showed Jantar Mantar packed with protesters responding to the Cockroach Janta Party’s (CJP) “Sansad Chalo” call ahead of the proposed march towards Parliament. Notably, Delhi Police did not grant permission for the protest. The aerial footage captured the gathering from above and was circulated to demonstrate the number of people who had assembled at the protest venue.

The Government of India is set to introduce the Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Bill, 2026. It aims to provide statutory protection to the National Song, Vande Mataram. The proposed amendment will expand Section 3 of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, which currently punishes anyone who intentionally prevents the singing of the National Anthem or disrupts an assembly engaged in singing it. According to media reports, the words “national song” will now be added alongside “national anthem”.

As reports began to surface regarding the police response, which included a lathi-charge against a stone-pelting CJP mob, Abhijit Dipke announced a significant shift in his protest strategy. Merely 48 hours after its commencement, he decided to bring his “indefinite” hunger strike to an end. Dipke stated that this decision was reached after Sonam Wangchuk, who was also preparing to conclude his own ‘indefinite’ hunger strike, requested that he join the scheduled CJP Parliament March.
