The mutual hostility resurfaced in another clash five months later, prompting Asad’s family to relocate from the immediate lane, though Asad frequently returned to the area accompanied by his local associates.

In the days leading up to the festival, however, a sudden and superficial peace emerged. The two teenagers apparently reconciled, resolving their previous disputes and resuming regular communication. To neighbors and family members, this reconciliation appeared to be a routine resolution of adolescent friction. However, the events of Thursday afternoon suggest that this fragile truce may have been a calculated effort to lower Surya's defenses, allowing the perpetrators to orchestrate an encounter in an environment where they held a structural advantage.
