The First Information Report (FIR) registered in connection with the mysterious death of celebrity talent manager Disha Salian formally outlines grave allegations of a well-orchestrated criminal conspiracy. According to the document, this extensive scheme was hatched to shield prominent figures, centrally naming Aaditya Thackeray—son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray—along with several other influential associates.

The formal complaint was initiated by Disha’s father, Satish Ishwar Salian, who highlighted severe inconsistencies in the official narrative presented by law enforcement regarding the circumstances surrounding his daughter's tragic end. In the FIR, he flagged serious contradictions across physical evidence, medical documents, and recorded witness accounts that led him to fundamentally mistrust the integrity of the original police probe.

Satish Salian firmly stated that he was completely unconvinced by the "suicide theory" put forward by the local police to explain her death. For five years following the incident, Disha’s father was denied access to a copy of her post-mortem examination report, which was finally provided to him only last year following direct legal intervention by his advocate.

A Calculated Conspiracy to Shield the Powerful and Influential

Satish Salian asserted in the complaint that his daughter was subjected to gang rape and killed as part of a calculated plot to insulate Aaditya Thackeray and other associates. The FIR states that this network had been engaged in illicit activities, including drug smuggling rings and child abuse, which Disha had inadvertently discovered.

“My daughter, victim DS, shared a close friendship with Sushant Singh Rajput, a film actor, and had also worked as his manager. In the course of her work, she came into possession of incriminating and objectionable information concerning alleged drug trafficking, child abuse, and other unlawful activities involving Aaditya Thackeray and others. She shared this information with Sushant Singh Rajput, and they intended to bring the same into the public domain through a press conference,” Disha’s father stated in the FIR. He reiterated that his daughter was brutally gang-raped and killed in execution of this conspiracy, after which a fabricated story of suicide was systematically constructed as a cover-up.

According to the details provided by her father, Sushant Singh Rajput had confided their plan to expose the illegal operations of Thackeray and other associates to his partner, Rhea Chakraborty. The FIR claims that Chakraborty relayed this warning directly to Thackeray and actor Dino Morea (spelled Dino Morya in parts of the complaint). Following this disclosure, Thackeray and his confederates allegedly orchestrated the deadly conspiracy against Disha Salian to ensure she could never make the evidence public.

The FIR further documents that in the wake of Disha’s death, Sushant Singh Rajput was gripped by severe fear that the perpetrators would target and kill him next. Driven by the urge to protect his life, Rajput reportedly directed his personal staff to wipe clean crucial digital trails, including data stored across mobile phones and electronic devices.

“A cyber expert was also allegedly called to delete/erase CCTV footage and other digital material relating to the premises where the relevant meetings had taken place. This fact was subsequently disclosed by his family members and staff in their statements in connection with the CBI investigation of another case relating to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death,” the FIR mentioned.

Alleged Role of Uddhav Thackeray and His Son in Overseeing the Cover-Up

Satish Salian's complaint points to an organized institutional cover-up, stating that numerous high-ranking police officers and public servants took an active part in facilitating and carrying out the plot surrounding his daughter's death. The document places key responsibility on Aaditya Thackeray, who was serving as a Maharashtra cabinet minister at the time, and his father Uddhav Thackeray, who then occupied the office of Chief Minister, claiming both played central roles in orchestrating the conspiracy and suppressing the facts.

The FIR explicitly calls for an examination of the involvement of Aaditya Thackeray alongside several named individuals. These include Disha’s fiancé Rohan Roy, actors Dino Morea and Sooraj Pancholi, members of Aaditya Thackeray’s security detail, actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty, dismissed police officer Sachin Vaze, former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Thakur, and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

According to the father, critical electronic records—most notably mobile tower location data indicating the physical presence of Aaditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, and Sooraj Pancholi in close proximity to the crime scene around the time of the incident—mysteriously vanished from official case files.

“The disappearance/non-production of such crucial electronic evidence requires investigation to ascertain who removed or suppressed these records, at what stage, on whose instructions, and for whose benefit,” her father stated in the FIR. He additionally cited the unexplained disappearance of official records and video documentation from the crime scene reconstruction, which directly challenged the landing distance figures reported by the local police.

Contradictions Across Witness Testimonies and Surveillance Records

The FIR documents glaring discrepancies between initial witness statements and independent electronic surveillance. Witness accounts given by Rohan Roy, the residential security guard, and others asserted that Disha never left the premises after arriving on June 4, 2020, to stay with her fiancé. In their initial testimony, they maintained that she leaped from the high-rise apartment at roughly 1:20 a.m. during the early hours of June 9, 2020, moments after finishing a telephone conversation with a friend named Ankita Satur.

CCTV footage shows Disha Salian entering Flat No. 1101 at approximately 8:15 p.m. on the evening of June 8, 2020. Furthermore, the claim that she fell or jumped at 1:20 a.m. is directly undermined by security camera feeds showing Rohan Roy and local police officers inside the building’s elevator at around 12:55 a.m., ascending toward Flat No. 1202. The FIR also highlighted deep inconsistencies surrounding the physical condition of Disha’s body, her clothing, and the subsequent post-mortem findings.

Unresolved Discrepancies in Medical Evidence and Police Documentation

The complaint exposes profound discrepancies within the forensic paper trail. Initial medical and police logs documented that vaginal and anal swab samples were explicitly harvested from Disha’s body and dispatched to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for scientific evaluation. However, these official records were later altered; rather than presenting forensic testing results for the swabs, authorities produced an FSL report dated August 28, 2020, referencing only "smear slides."

When questioned about this shift, Dr. Dhanraj Jadhav, the medical examiner who conducted the post-mortem, claimed that the recorded word "swab" in earlier documents was merely a clerical error and maintained that only smears were taken. Yet, as the FIR emphasizes, Dr. Jadhav’s justification stands in direct conflict with the case diary maintained by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which clearly confirmed that both vaginal and anal swabs were collected and forwarded to the forensic laboratory for detailed analysis.

Merely six days later, on June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in Bandra, triggering intense public scrutiny and speculation regarding an underlying link between the two fatalities. While the subsequent investigation led by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into Rajput’s death concluded with a closure report citing suicide, that report currently awaits final judicial consideration before the court.

This latest FIR regarding Disha Salian’s death was formally registered by the CBI following direct instructions issued by the Bombay High Court. In its ruling, the High Court strongly questioned the Mumbai Police’s handling of the matter over six years as a mere accidental death and ordered the central agency to step in after identifying multiple "glaring discrepancies" across the initial investigative record.
