"Your film is a hit, you bathe in champagne; it flops, a single malt lessens the pain": Swara Bhasker “Jahan Chaar Yaar” sinks without a trace at Box Office, gets 1.1 rating on IMDb, full of crappy dialogues, absurd comedy, not worth watching with family

Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar's film 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar' has hit the theaters on Friday, September 16, 2022, but neither the audience is reaching the theaters to see it Nor did the film get a better rating on IMDb Films. The film got a rating of only 1.1 on IMDb. Obviously, the actress will not be happy with this rating. After this poor rating, this film has joined the list of the most useless films of all time. Not only this, no trade experts have given any information about the film's earnings (Jahaan Chaar Yaar Box Office).

Apart from Swara Bhaskar, Maihar Vij, Shikha Talsania and Pooja Chopra are also in the lead roles in the film. The film is directed and written by Kamal Pandey. Swara Bhaskar was very active in the promotion of the film, but its first-day box office collection is said to be around Rs 6-7 lakh.
There has been a decline in the collection of the film on the second day. In this way, it is believed that the film will hardly be able to collect Rs 50 lakh as its lifetime collection.
At the same time, critics have also completely rejected this film with lewd dialogues and comedy. It is shown in this film that four women come out of the house and have fun together. Its script has also been rejected by critics saying that a fine subject was ruined.
According to some media reports, those who buy its tickets in many theaters are being sent to watch 'Brahmastra'. Overall the condition of the film is very bad at the box office.
Full of crappy dialogues, an absurd comedy where chaar yaar is not worth watching with family. Swara Bhaskar, Mehr Vij, Pooja Chopra, and Shikha Talsania starrer Jahan Chaar Yaar has been released. The writer and director of the film is Kamal Pandey. The film tells the story of 4 women, who are troubled by their lives. Jahaan Chaar Yaar Review
As the title suggests, 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar' is about four friends, and when they get together, we can expect a lot of fun. But, unfortunately, the film contains a lot of drama that only vaguely discusses how important it is for women to have their own identities and voices. Spread over 125 minutes of run time, the film sets up the story of four women who decide to live a bit more independently for a few days in order to break free from the monotonous cycle of being middle-class housewives. The story starts on an interesting note and is funny in parts, but it ends up being a dull film to watch.
The film opens with Shivangi, who lives a routine life of doing household chores – from washing the entire family’s clothes to cooking meals for them. She even eats alone after finishing the tasks but never whines. Then we meet Sakhina, who has a troubled marriage due to her inability to have children. Even though her spouse is to blame, no one wants to hear her side of the story. Neha is the third group member, and her husband is having an extramarital affair. The last member of the buddy gang is Mansi, who duped her friends into going on a trip to Goa. Will this be a good break for them, or will it change their lives?
With 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar', writer Kamal Pandey makes his directorial debut after penning numerous daily soaps and film scripts. The story definitely strikes a chord at first, especially given how easy it is to identify with these women and their circumstances. When they go on a trip and end up in an unfortunate situation (to be precise, right before the interval), what started out as fun quickly loses its luster for both, them and the viewers.
After the 'Veere Di Wedding,' Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania are back together in another film about female bonding. Swara is the best of the bunch, with some funny one-liners and a perfect UP accent. Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij, and Pooja Chopra have played their parts well but lack support from the writing department.
All said, the concept of friends traveling together to have some thrill in life is not novel, but given that the film focuses on desi naaris and their pakki dostis, a lot of entertainment was expected, but it falls short in every way.

Reviewers have strongly criticized the film, noting that it has disgusting dialogues and bizarre humor. It is shown in the movie that four women enjoy their time together after abandoning their lives as housewives. Critics have also panned the film’s writing, claiming that a brilliant topic was squandered. In several theatres, it is reported that those who purchased the tickets were sent to see ‘Brahmastra.’
Swara Bhasker recently stated, while promoting the film, that the trend of ‘Boycott Bollywood’ is being pushed in a planned manner, with an agenda being promoted on social media. She said that Brahmastra’s revenues had silenced everyone. Swara Bhasker claims that Bollywood is being attacked by a nerdy elite just because it has served as a symbol of secularism and fraternity. According to her, Bollywood embraces India’s variety and pluralism.
